  • The next phase is the crossover. Proceed to cross over the longer end over the shorter end. Then pass the longer end underneath the shorter end and pass it over from the center.
  • Proceed to fold this shorter end horizontally and then place the longer end over the shorter end. Then fold the longer horizontally and proceed to insert the longer end through the loop that was formed at the back of the shorter end when you folded this end.
  • End the tying process by gently pulling the ends of the bow tie so as to tighten the tie correctly. Usually getting the order of steps right may take some time and thus, it may be worthwhile to rehearse the technique of how to tie a bow tie repeatedly so as to properly grasp it.
